The founders of My Backyard Sports, Michael Kraner and Seth Schwartz met on the basketball court.  Mike saw Seth on the court and he looked like a player, so he challenged him to a game of one on one.  The game was a battle.  Seth was bigger, a little older and a little stronger than Mike.  There was a fun basketball game and a lifelong friendship resulted.

Michael and Seth have learned many of life lessons through their involvement in sports. They started out as Pee Wee and Little League Players, turned into competitive High School Athletes.  Seth even played in college.

As they got older, they shared their love of sports through coaching and are still involved sharing Sports with their families and are involved in their communities.

As parents, they realized that while they grew up playing Sports their children were spending more time on technology and behind many assorted screens.  They wanted to make sure to get their kids outside and into healthy positive life habits via sports.

My Backyard Sports is dedicated to sharing the love of Sports within families, parents, children, their friends and the neighborhood.

Mike is convinced that his career as Entrepreneur which officially launched in college was ignited by his high school Lacrosse team requirement to fund raise by selling Candy to his classmates to earn his Lacrosse equipment.
